We are pleased to announce that the registration period for the 3rd International Colloquium on Climate Change in mountains areas which will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of October 2019 at the Congress Centre in Jaca is now open. We also remind you the call for good practices has been extended until the 23rd of September 2019. Don´t hesitate to contact us to share your good adaptation practices!

The July newsletter of the OPCC has arrived with fresh news! First of all, we are pleased to announce the dates for the 3rd International Colloquium on Climate Change in Mountain Areas PYRADAPT 2019. In this April newsletter we would like to highlight two milestones that have undoubtedly marked  a crossroads on the Observatory's trajectory and international visibility. In November, the OPCC published the report - Climate Change in the Pyrenees: Impacts, Vulnerabilities and Adaptation - with an impressive media coverage. We also took part in a Side event on climate change in mountain areas organised by the United Nations in New York. This and much more in our newsletter!

In this newsletter we have many news. Firstly, we have designed a new newsletter created directly from the new OPCC portal and geoportal, which have been developed within the framework of the OPCC2 project.

Another important novelty is that the OPCC participates in the PHUSICOS project, on natural risks and climate change in mountains, financed by the European program H2020.

Below we tell you more about the consortium and the first coordination meeting in Oslo. We also have news of two of the projects associated with the OPCC: CLIMPY and FLORAPYR.
