OPCC representatives meet to work on the Observatory Strategy and the Pyrenees Strategy of the CTP

  • 25 May

Last Tuesday, June 19, a working meeting among the Representatives of the Climate Change Observatory (OPCC)  took place to discuss about the Observatory's strategy and its horizontal coordination with the forthcoming Pyrenean Strategy of the Pyrenees Working Community (EPI). The place chosen for this meeting was the municipality of Canfranc, a beautiful showcase in the middle of the Pyrenees.

Antonio Pascual,  General Secretary of the CTP, open up the day by presenting the Pyrenean Strategy (EPI) and together with the Technical Committee of the OPCC worked on the development of the thematic axis 1 of the EPI: "Protection of the Environment and Climate Change Adaptation".

The OPCC's mission is to be the reference platform in climate change information in the Pyrenees and to  improve decision-making on climate change adaptation acting as a bridge between the scientific world, the socioeconomic sectors and public administrations.
